About

Partners Andy Getsey and James Hannon are entrepreneurs and angel investors who understand first hand what it takes to launch and commercialize technologies and companies. Together, they've invested in 28 ventures. To date, 8 companies and one technology were acquired; one company went public, one company folded.

Andy and James were the co-founders of Atomic, one of San Francisco and Silicon Valley's premiere PR and social media agencies for startups. The agency grew to 6 offices in the U.S. and entered into a joint venture with Huntsworth plc to open offices in London and Munich. Atomic was named Technology PR Agency of the Year in 2010 and was acquired by Huntsworth in 2011, along with sister agency H30. In addition, they also co-developed ComContext, a game-changing communications analytics platform, which was also acquired.

At Atomic, Andy and James managed growth to $19+ million in annual revenue, negotiated more than 350 contracts, hired and managed 200+ people, and advised on the launches, growth stages and/or exits of more than 75 high profile tech start-ups including Photobucket, Linkedin, Bebo, Rapt, Xign, Splunk!, Mint, Dropbox, Milo, Jobvite, Smule, Fusion-io, Arcsight, Hirevue, Leap Motion, Moonfruit, Delphix, Automatic, Rocket Fuel, Opower, Lending Club, FullScreen Networks, BrightRoll, Fountain and more.
